Attracting Military Clients
Relocating military members often start looking for homes before they arrive at their next duty location. Notice I said "they look for a home"? They are looking for homes, not necessarily an agent! They look to see what their BAH (basic allowance for housing) will be for that area, figure out what they can afford for rent or mortgage payments then start browsing. They may not be ready to sign a contract but their looking. When they find a home their interested in, they will find the agent that advertised it.This is one of your best options to make contact with members before they arrive. Once they get to into the area, they may opt to find an agent then shop for homes. It should be an important part of your advertising campaign to advertise homes that are within the price range of the majority of the military members in your area. Advertising homes on our site is your earned right. We do not charge participating agents listing fee's.
Remember, "When a military member finds a home, he will find the agent that advertised it". It's easier to shop for a home and get the agent that comes with it, then to shop for an agent, then shop for a home.
If you want to see BAH rates for your area, visit the link below. Enter your zip code and choose a rank. In most area's the majority of military members are: enlisted E-4 to E7 and officer 0-1 to 04, other ranks will certainly be assigned to your area, these are simply the majority.
The "with" and "with out" dependent rate is determined if the members family is relocating also.
